OUR HISTORY

Created in 1966 by two Quebec purchasing groups made up of independent merchants, Novexco is now the largest Canadian-owned distributor of products and services for workplaces.

1996

Foundation of Novexco.

2000

The three banners are merged to create BuroPLUS®.

2008

Acquisition of the resale division of Corporate Express, including the Club Express ® banner.

2011

Novexco builds new headquarters and distribution center in Laval QC.

2014

Novexco acquires Lyreco Canada, the largest acquisition in its history.

2016-2017

Novexco acquires in quick succession Rubanco, one of its member dealers, Chestwood, a distributor located in the Toronto area as well as Crites & Riddell, a century-old company in the Montreal area. Two new distribution centres are added by these acquisitions.

2018

All sales divisions adopt a new commercial identity: Hamster™. Only the wholesale division operates independently.

2020

Acquisition of SP Richards Canada.
